The flaw was present upon delivery and became apparent within the warranty duration.

The flaw did not result from regular usage or improper handling by the Customer.

The specified product is utilized for its intended purpose and within a household setting, unless a written waiver is granted by DivanoElegante.

The Customer adhered to the care instructions and maintenance guidelines, and also presents the original invoice.

Upholstered Furniture

The warranty for upholstered furniture covers the frame and craftsmanship for a duration of 2 years from the date of delivery or collection. It’s important to note that the warranty specifically excludes the fabric or leather used for upholstery due to the natural wear and tear associated with regular use. Additionally, it’s crucial to understand that DivanoElegante has no control over the customer’s environment, including usage and treatment. Exposure to sunlight, for example, can result in fading and is not covered by the warranty.

Warranties do not apply to:

Defects or damage resulting from neglect, abuse, or improper use, encompassing instances such as inadequate maintenance, exposure to water, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, coastal air, contact with chemicals, accidents, usage scenarios not intended for the product, and failure to adhere to DivanoElegante’s care instructions or specifications, are not covered. Extraordinary wear and tear, beyond the usual, is considered as damage, which includes:

Spills of solvents or other substances

Marks from ink, pens, or crayons

Paint stains

Contact with bodily fluids (human or animal)

Incorrect cleaning methods

Placing furniture outdoors in direct sunlight or near an open heat source, such as heaters, fireplaces, or braai stands.

Wood Warranty

Wood products come with a 5-year warranty from the date of delivery or collection, covering frame and workmanship. Alterations to the original product will void the warranty, particularly when it comes to Teak furniture used indoors, as its oil content makes it unsuitable for placement on carpets.
